Simple Technology Solutions is looking for a Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Developer to add to our team.

The role:
STS's Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Developer provides architecture and engineering expertise to partner with our clients to plan, analyze, design, test, and deploy infrastructure expressed as code. IaC professionals can span multiple areas of expertise as they work with different client teams on different engagements.
The Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Developer at STS will:
- Lead and/or participate on a team designing, developing and testing IaC solutions for IaaS and PaaS solutions for on-prem or Cloud platforms
- Support DevOps operations by integrating developed IaC into CICD pipeline builds
- Develop documentation utilizing standardized templates including: Installation and Configuration Guides, design and engineering plans
- Write other non-templated documentation as needed to support tasks like: process and procedures documents for operational support, lessons learned, diagrams, systems administration guidelines, systems set-up documentation, hardware integration test plans and results
- Provide systems engineering requirements to ensure that technical and operational requirements are achievable and being satisfied with the proposed technologies
- Provide support in validating and verifying requirements, requirements analysis and decomposition, requirements test/verification/validation, and reporting
- Manage, maintain, and enhance current and future baselines. This effort will encompass hands on technical engineering efforts required to define, develop, test and implement software baselines
Education and Experience:
Required
- Bachelor's Degree
- 4 years of additional position related experience can be substituted for a degree
- A minimum of 5 years' position related experience is required
- Extensive knowledge of cloud services, methodologies, best practices, and tools
- Demonstrated success developing/implementing IaC using python, Terraforms, Gitlab, Ansible in AWS and Azure
- Knowledge of at least one modern services framework (K8S, SDWAN, Serverless, etc)
- Generic DevOps Skill Baseline Coding
- Scripting/ Programing language/ Configuration Management/ Container (1 or more at 100 level)
- VCS (Git Based VSC): family with commit, branch, merge, review process - understand pre/post hook -design/implement branching strategy (e.g., git flow, GitHub flow) - design/implement group development collaboration process (access control, code review/approval, integration with other CI tools)
- Artifact Repository: familiar with one of the popular antifactory management tools
- CI/CD tools: implement CI services (VCS, antifactory repo, build, release)
- Operating System familiar with Linux or Windows OS
- Data storage, Database, configuration management
- AWS Certifications
- Azure Certifications
