Lexington Home Brands is looking for an experienced Inside Upholstery Inspector in our Upholstery Operation in Hildebran, NC.

Offering a $2,500.00 Sign-On Bonus (based on amount of experience)

First Shift Hours: 6:00 am-3:30 pm Monday – Thursday & 6:00 am-10:00 am Fridays

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Must be knowledgeable in inside upholstery methods and able to check each piece for proper appearance after being upholstered.
• Ability to check for overall neat appearance and that the piece is built to written specifications.
• Will be able to approve piece, supply necessary trim supplies and move into trim staging area.
• Perform related work as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience/Education:

• Minimum (2-3) years of knowledge in upholstered furniture and a background in furniture manufacturing or quality inspection.

Required Skills:

• This position requires manual dexterity, fine motor skills, and attention to detail to meet high quality standards
• Must perform job with safety as a top priority
• Must be able to show up to work on-time and take direction from supervisor(s)
• Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, and bend for nine (9) hours or more daily
• Requires sliding of sofas, love seats and chairs on floor about 20-40 feet.
• Ability to get along with others and work in a team environment
• Perform related tasks as assigned by the supervisor
