Installer Helper

Summary

Installing and repairing data communication lines and resolving user data

communication problems by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may

be assigned.

  • Perform all duties in a safe manner in accordance with TISD Installation and

Safety Manuals.

  • Deliver and install the required equipment to the customer's D-mark

location.

  • Welcome book; Educate all customers in operation of equipment being

installed.

  • Follow all safety procedures while climbing various ladders while working at

heights.

  • Capable of climbing various ladders and working at heights following all

safety procedures.

  • Develop and maintain technical knowledge of current products and services

offered by TISD.

  • Perform routine preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment as

required in accordance with company policies.

  • Report equipment hazards and/or product incidents as required in

accordance with company policy and procedures.

  • Maintain adequate levels of supplies and equipment in van.
  • Exercise care in the use and storage of installation tools. Report lost or

damaged tools immediately.

  • Complete daily van inspection and ensure safe and proper use.
  • Turn in all completed paperwork, van inspection form, and monies collected

daily. Complete mileage logs daily and turn in with all other paperwork.

  • Maintain van in clean and orderly condition daily.
  • Operate company vehicle in a safe manner and report any incidents or near

incidents to supervisor.

  • Attend weekly safety meetings.

Must have a valid driver's license.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
