MNK Infotech Inc. is looking for a Spanish Instructional Designer (for eLearning Courses) for one of its direct clients.

• 100% remote

• 6 months contract (extendable)
• Prior experience required as 'Instructional Designer'

Role: Instructional Designer

Design and Development Expertise

• Spanish Online Courses: Conversion to 7-Week Master Template As part of this task, the Spanish ID will:
• Reorganize the course content to fit into the 7-module course template, and make necessary updates to course-level components such as syllabus, assignment titles, gradebook columns, etc.

• * Perform ID audit of the course: *

• Check alignment of module learning objective to course outcomes. If the LO is not aligned or does not support a Course Outcome, revise it.
• Check titles of standard pages such as Course Overview are updated as per the standards followed in the 7-module course template.
• Check the alignment of learning objectives to the assignment that is mapped to it. If the LO and assignment do not match, then revise the LO to fit the assignment in a way that keeps LO with Course Outcome.
• Check that the assignments are appropriate for the academic level. If not, flag the issue on a tracker.
• Rewrite any discussion prompt where the prompt seeks a single right answer or is generally too narrow.
• Check linked-to videos. If they lack CC, flag them for review and replacement later.
• Double-check that there is no use of Wikipedia, Course Hero, and a list of other forbidden sites.
• Make sure there is at least one project in the course that requires students to research, cite, and present (can be a paper, speech, ppt deck, video, etc that students create).
• Ensure APA citations use relative links, URLs in citation will be unlinked.
• Note any sources that are not cited.
• Remove any decorative images, especially if they lack image credit.
• Flag any instructional image that lacks image credit.
• Post rebuild, put questionable PPTs (to be defined) into a hidden for review module.
• Copy edit the pages impacted by the reshuffling.

1.1.2. Lecture Page Creation

• Spanish ID will perform the following tasks as part of lecture page creation:
• Analyze the source documents and media assets such as images and infographics for Storyline and Soft Chalk interactive packages provided by the University
• Chunk the content into static pages, ensuring the pages are not too long or scrollable
• Add relevant titles to the chunked pages
• Update the titles or content based on the University’s review

Qualifications:

• Spanish language fluent (mandatory)
• 4+ years of experience creating eLearning courses using multimedia authoring tools
• Portfolio of work samples demonstrating knowledge of instructional design models and adult learning theories, as well as proficiency in design tools
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in instructional design, education, communications, or related field
