Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly skilled Process Controls Technician. Candidates must be able to communicate effectively with management, production supervisors, machine operators, outside contractors and other plant maintenance personnel. This is a full time position with very competitive salary and a full benefits package.
Description of Duties
First Shift 7:00 to 3:30
Superior troubleshooting ability
Ability to work with minimal Instruction
Experienced Networking skills
Proficiency in reading blueprints and electrical schematics
Proficiency and experience troubleshooting integrated HMI/PLC control systems, including proficiency evaluating/modifying associated programming and devices. (Rockwell RSLogix 5, 500 and 5000 experience required) as well as Simatic Step 7 capabilities
Experience with InTouch Wonderware
Capable of upgrading outdated 16 bit networked drives
Maintain instrument as-built documentation
Prefer degree in Industrial Technology and/or Electronics
Prior experience in a manufacturing / industrial environment preferred
Experience with maintenance/mechanical systems preferred
Must have general understanding of the manufacturing processes, quality standards, equipment operations, safety requirements and departmental procedures
Qualifications
Associates Degree from Accredited or Technical College
5+ years of applicable experience
Minimum 5 years maintenance experience in a Manufacturing Environment (preferably food)
