Dulles Insurance is looking for a Commercial Lines CSR for our Leesburg, Virginia office.

We have an opening in our commercial department managing a book of business handling accounts up to $200,000 in premium, mostly contractors and other risks.

Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The following is a summary of the essential functions of this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

1. Marketing new business to several carriers via carrier web portal or accord forms in a fast and efficient manner.

2. Take ownership and be able to take care of client issues that arise and settle them in a fast efficient manner.

3. Assist clients with audits.

4. Issue binders and certificates upon request.

3. Respond to phone calls and emails from clients by answering questions and resolving any issues.

4. Track and monitor claims and keep clients and producers informed of status.

5. Invoice and process new and renewal business, endorsements, audits, and cancellations.

6. Maintain proper documentation on coverages and exceptions for assigned accounts.

7. Enter, update, and maintain client policy information according to agency procedures in the management system.

8. Monitor all expirations, and be sure all renewals are processed.

9. Review accounts at renewal, obtaining updates on accounts by onsite visits as needed.

10. Assist Producers with re-underwriting existing accounts, managing renewals, and cross-selling while assisting the agency in meeting its financial objectives.

11. Willingness to ask for other lines of business and forward it to the appropriate department for them to follow up and quote.

Required Skills and Competencies:

1. Must have state-issued Property and Casualty agent's license (Life and Health license is a plus.)

2. AMS360 Agency Management System automation or ability to learn quickly.

3. Proficient in usage of various carrier websites.

4. Familiar with company guidelines, coverage, and underwriting.

5. Maintain excellent rapport with clients and company underwriters & agency personnel.

6. Superb interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.

7. Proficient typing (60 wpm) and computer skills.

8. Excellent attitude.

9. Ability to work both independently and as a team player.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
