In this CSR position you will support seasoned insurance professionals who provide property/casualty and life/health solutions to our valued clients. Responsibilities
  • Reach out to schedule health insurance appointments for existing and prospective customers
  • Assist with group health/benefits enrollments and terminations
  • Complete follow-up's on health/benefits insurance; ensure proper documentation is digitized
  • Provide service to existing clients related to updating policies, taking payments, providing ID cards, generating Certificates of Insurance and answering questions.
  • Turn in new claims and follow up with adjusters as needed.
  • Support producers by reviewing existing policies, liability limits and exposures, explore other coverage needs, evaluate replacement costs, round out accounts, and bind renewals.
  • Gather data for producers working on new client applications
  • Maintain records of customer interactions, recording details in the agency management system.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure excellent customer service and overall agency growth.
Qualifications
  • Preferably, hold NE P&C or Life/Health insurance license and have a 1-2 years insurance CSR experience. Will consider training the right candidate if not currently licensed.
  • Exhibit teamwork and willingness to take on new duties.
  • Demonstrate strong customer focus and an excellent phone manner; display strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Possess a sense of urgency, attention to detail, organization, multi- tasking, and follow up skills.
  • Able to handle occasional challenging situations with customers and solve problems without direct supervision.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of insurance products and usages, rating procedures, underwriting procedures, coverages, and industry operations to effectively manage, maintain, and write assigned clients and prospects.
  • Exhibit excellent time management skills as well as technology and computer proficiency. Ability to operate agency management systems, online rating tools, and carrier website navigation.
