Alliance Shippers Inc. is one of North America’s largest privately owned global logistics and transportation service companies. We are hiring a Pricing Manager to join our Alliance International Division.

Role:

The international Pricing Manager supports management, the sales department and operations by providing timely and accurate freight and logistics financial projections, price quotations, and implementation of company and customer routing guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate communication among management, sales, and operations department regarding contracts, and produce quotes for new and existing accounts in direct communication with Sales
• Perform rate analysis, including historical assessments and forecasts based on industry knowledge
• Craft, evaluate, negotiate and execute a wide variety of different contracts covering a range of transactions
• Monitor contracts and move forward with close-out, extension or renewal according to what is best for the company
• Solve any contract related problems that may arise with other parties and internally with the company itself
• Travel required, approximately 50 %

Essential Skills, Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in the freight forwarding industry preferred
• At least 2 years experience in Pricing Management or Pricing Analyst
• Ability to interpret customer needs and develop appropriate quotations for sales
• In-Depth knowledge of contracts and outstanding communication skills
