- Associate’s degree or equivalent
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (preferably in Education)
- Prior education assistant/paraprofessional or teaching experience
- Assist students with reading and math skills by use of oral reading, flash cards, conducting tests, and related instructional reinforcement activities
- Conduct tests and informal quizzes to assess students’ mastering of material taught
- Assist in maintaining test records, preparing progress reports, and monitoring student progression
- Prepare and copy worksheets and learning materials
- Organize students’ work/records for parent-teacher conferences
- Work with students on skills assigned by the classroom teacher
- Attend and participate in planning sessions with Intervention teaching staff
- Other related duties as assigned

Work Schedule: Mon - Friday, 6.5 Hours (6 hours paid, 30 minute unpaid lunch)

Pay: Starting pay is $15.36 - $16.96 per hour dependent on qualifications
