What We Need

This position maintains production and distribution of Product by fulfilling internal demand requests, both putting away and pulling from Inventory, delivering production materials and supplies, staging and moving finished products. In addition to Material Handling this role will be asked to perform a variety of Warehouse related activities such as Cycle counts, Inventory disposal and movements transactions. As with any position, you may be asked to help in other areas of the business to fulfil customer orders.

What You'll Be Doing

• Timely delivery of raw material to manufacturing cells according to standard procedure to ensure no work stoppages.
• Inspects inbound material to the Raw Material Warehouse to ensure their quality and quantity are correct.
• Transfers deliveries from the Receiving cell to the Raw Material Warehouse and restocks into the correct bin location.
• Performs raw material and finished goods cycle counts.
• Responsible for the cleanliness and organization of the Warehouse.
• Inspects order items to pass quality standards including: color, surface finish, art legend, construction materials, and text.
• Performs accurate counts of items to ensure complete order fulfillment and correct delivery quantity. Ensures that all line items are present for an order.
• Supports the restocking of manufactured product and purchased finished goods.
• May be responsible for an area of the distribution center to clean and perform 5S duties on a daily basis.

What You'll Need To Be Successful

• Strong computer skills and experience; required to use SAP to generate cycle counts, enter cycle counts, perform stock transfers, monitor goods movements, and navigate part history.
• Strong ability to read labels and descriptions, count accurately, and perform simple arithmetical operations and unit conversions
• Restocks consumables at manufacturing and warehouse workstations as needed
• Executes the monthly disposition of excess and obsolete raw materials
• Relocates materials in the Warehouse as needed to accommodate changes in stocking levels
• Demonstrates ability to prioritize workload and communicates effectively with internal and external customers.
• Able to use hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, and other material handling equipment.
• Ability to occasionally lift 40 lbs. is required.
