Overview:
2020 Companies is now interviewing for an Inventory Manager to work within our Corporate location overlooking Texas Motor Speedway.

The Inventory Manager will oversee the management of the company's physical assets plus manage a team of three Inventory Specialist.

Job Description:

  • Ensure outbound and incoming shipments are timely and are in compliance with our company's service level agreements
  • Manage workload of direct reports
  • Reconciles delivery quantity, condition, model number, etc. with Purchase Order
  • Update product statuses in our inventory management system
  • Create product records in our inventory management system when new items are added
  • Monitoring shipping supply levels and placing orders as needed
  • Conducts routine stock inventory reconciliation; assists in conducting complete physical stock inventory count annually
  • Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
  • Collaborate with program leaders to ensure clarity of the inventory needs for each program
  • Reporting on inventory statuses and inventory audits

Qualifications:

  • Experience managing physical inventory
  • 2 years' experience managing people
  • Good knowledge of online inventory management tools
  • Experience with FedEx & UPS software
  • Advanced level experience using Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in collecting and analyzing data
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Strong leadership capabilities
  • Degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration preferred but not required

  • Work in confined or crowded areas

Physical Requirements:
While this is a desk job with prolonged periods of sitting it will be necessary to lift and move up to 50 lbs. Additionally, this position will be required to:

  • Sit for 2+ hours per day
  • Lift up to 40 lbs
  • Hear alarms/telephone/tape recorders/horns/normal voices
  • Test sample items for durability, fit & finish
  • Stand up for extended periods
  • Bend at waist
  • Have clarity of vision
