Inventory Specialist -* Production (North Adams)*
The Inventory Specialist will be responsible for all tasks related to maintaining inventory levels and managing all incoming and outgoing orders. The Inventory Specialist will maintain PAR levels on all hard goods and consumables while also overseeing all outgoing orders of cannabis products. All shipping and receiving will be managed by the Warehouse Supervisor. This position will report directly to the Inventory Manager.
Responsibilities:
May be asked to perform job duties outside of this job description and responsibilities may change based on the company's needs. Responsibilities for this position are responsible but not limited to:
- Communicate and provide recommendations with Inventory Supervisor using inventory tracking system to request any ordering needs of packaged material
- Work with Warehouse Supervisor on all outgoing deliveries
- Relaying details to Warehouse Supervisor on specialty products, test results, expiration dates, and test fails
- Works with inventory team to resolve any discrepancies regarding an ongoing delivery
- Ensure that all materials are in their appropriate locations in METRC through the tracking system
- Performs quarantine destruction
- Facilitate monthly inventory audits or as needed established by Inventory Manager:
- All cannabis product
- Ensures Canold inventory is compliant and accurate
- Verify discrepancies with appropriate managers
- Adds packages to both TW and METRC manifests as necessary
- Quantify current ready-to-send inventory quantities of all Flower
- Work with Cultivation to understand flower timelines
- Maintain compliance will all deliveries and inventory
- Consistent open communication with TW Worcester location inventory specialist in case any discrepancies need to be resolved in a ongoing delivery
- Remain current with industry best practices, trends, and technologies.
Requirements:
- 2 years' experience as a Warehouse or Logistics Specialist required
- Must have or be willing to get a forklift operator license
- Ability to multi-task with excellent follow through skills
- Strong communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- High-energy, enthusiasm and the willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done
- Thorough knowledge of all Temescal Wellness protocols, policies and Procedures
- Experience with Metrc, state cannabis electronic tracking systems, and other cannabis-related software is a plus
- Awareness and understanding of PAR levels
- Proficient at all tasks in relation to inventory management
- Willingness to teach/train associates who need assistance
- Ability to problem-solve and take initiative
- Ability to collaborate with the production teams effectively
- Excellent attendance and punctuality
- Skilled in general computer operating systems and applications, including G Suite
- Ability to visually examine products for quality and signage/labeling accuracy
- At least 21 years of age
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
- Ability to bend and lift loads, not to exceed 50 pounds
- Ability to walk or stand on hard surface for extended periods
- Repetitive use of hands for grasping, pushing, pulling, cutting and fine manipulation
- Experience training and supervising others
- Outstanding problem-solver
Compensation and Benefits:

Work Hours:
The Warehouse Specialist is a full-time position. Employees will be expected to arrive for their shift starting at 7:00 am and fulfill their duties by the end of the work day at 5:00 pm. Cultivation is a 7 day-a-week operation and each employee’s schedule will be determined by the General Manager.
