Job Summary:

CONREX is a leader in the Single-Family Rental industry, and we believe that our employees are our greatest strength. We are seeking a passionate IT Administrator to join our team in Charleston, SC.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve end-user problems and provide status to affected users.
  • Respond to and track user incidents and request work activity in ticketing system.
  • Deploy software upgrades as needed.
  • Troubleshoot and manage all aspects of Conrex mobile device environment including iPhones, iPads, and Android devices.
  • Maintain inventory of surplus equipment.
  • Direct experience designing or managing and O365 environment.
  • Direct experience with enterprise mobile device management solutions.
  • Create and follow Infrastructure Policies and Procedures for system administration for problem resolution, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • Install, troubleshoot, and configure workstations hardware, peripherals, OS, proprietary software, and third-party applications.
  • Install, Configure, and troubleshoot network printers, scanners, and local printers.
  • Troubleshoot remote user problems with connectivity to corporate systems.
  • Understanding of DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP and wireless networking.
  • Management of core switches.
  • Implementing and managing Firewall rules, and VLAN’s
  • Wireless Access Point setup and configuration
  • Azure AD experience, including Microsoft Endpoint management
  • Complete Assigned projects in a timely manner.
  • Deploy new workstations for new hires
  • System upgrades and maintenance as needed. (May require after-hours work)
  • Asset Management and record-keeping activities such as inventory, software licenses, and user account creation.
  • Plan, implement, and support changes to the systems such as OS upgrades, manage backups.
  • Comply with company’s Global IT Policies & Procedures.
  • Providing on-call support as scheduled for after-hours emergencies.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Key Metrics:

  • Trouble ticket closures per month.
  • Time a ticket comes into queue to when the ticket has been acknowledged and fixed.
  • Customer satisfaction

Minimum requirements include:

  • A minimum of 2 years of technical help desk experience and/or similar or related experience.
  • Associate degree in an IT related field (highly preferred).
  • Advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Windows environment.
  • Relevant technical certificates a plus.
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications a plus.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Maintain a positive attitude, a strong sense of urgency, excellent communication skills and demonstrate an unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction with the ability to prioritize and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrates self-discipline and motivation in all aspects of job performance.

  • Ability to articulate technical concepts to co-workers.
  • Must be able to work in a high-pressure team environment, handle multiple tasks and react quickly to networking problems and issues.

  • Demonstrating the ability to manage multiple tasks, activities, and commitments.
