We are a successful, rangy, video production company serving leading technology brands with global live productions and marketing videos.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

A great IT Associate to join our team. We are looking for someone technically inclined with Tier 1 user support experience. This individual will work closely with our Information Technology Manager on tasks and projects in addition to help desk duties. Experience or interest in video production is a plus. There will be opportunities to learn and work with video and photography gear and solve technical puzzles around the production space. The ideal candidate will have excellent troubleshooting skills, an affinity for problem solving, and excellent communication skills.

JOB TITLE: IT Associate

REPORTS TO:Information Technology Manager

FLSA Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Resolve support tickets on the internal help desk.

· Device imaging in preparation of new users or projects (Windows and Mac).

· Employee hardware distribution.

· Provide support for O365 applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, OneDrive, etc.).

· Respond to, investigate, diagnose, and solve computer software and hardware issues (employee laptops and devices).

· Work with users remotely over Microsoft Teams and remote assist tools for help requests.

· Support software and hardware specific to video production (record and media delivery software, firmware updates).

· Solve login and access problems.

· Assist with client corporate access and setup.

· Assist with the development of technical documentation.

· Hard drive archiving and organization of stored media assets.

· Upkeep of the media archive process for the production team.

· Office hardware maintenance (printers, meeting room displays, workstations, etc.).

· Support office edit bay devices (Mac devices and NAS).

· Oversee hardware repair needs for user devices and office hardware.

· Keep device and software inventory updated.

· Maintain patching and OS health of utility devices for production use (Windows and Mac).

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

· 1 year of practical IT help desk experience, preferably in a production facility or department, production company, or post-production facility.

· Acute attention to detail, excellent organization, and the ability to follow-through.

· Ability to work on multiple priorities simultaneously.

· Ability to maintain a calm, professional demeanor in the face of competing demands and pressures.

· Must be willing to work in a team environment: be willing to share and be open to others' ideas, be flexible and willing to compromise.

· Must have a strong work ethic, high professional standards, and strong moral character.

· Able to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, and handle other physical tasks.

· Working knowledge of audio and video production equipment and systems.

· Proven experience with troubleshooting and resolution of a wide array of computing technologies.

· Advanced knowledge of Outlook and Outlook Web Access.

· Advanced knowledge of Microsoft and Apple Software (Microsoft Edge, Windows 10/11, MS Office 365, Mac OS/iOS, and Android OS).

· Working knowledge of IP networks and configurations, including PCs and Macs, printers, servers and other peripherals.

· Ability to use and support Adobe Creative Cloud applications.

· Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers who may have a limited knowledge of computer systems operations and equipment.

PREFERRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:

· Strong Windows 10/11 experience.

· Some Mac OS experience.

· Mobile OS experience (iOS & Android).

· Office 365 applications: Outlook, Excel, Word, OneDrive, Teams.

· Basic Networking (WLAN/LAN, VPN, IP addressing, switch configuration).

· Security practices (2FA/MFA, BitLocker encryption).

· Basic knowledge of post-production software (Adobe, Davinci, FTP tools, Hedge, Iconik, Frame.io).

· Shared network media server (NAS devices).

· Virtualization (Hyper-V and VMware).

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

· Work Environment:

The office generally operates from 9am-5pm, but days and hours of this position may vary week-to-week. A willingness to work varying schedules including weekends, nights, holidays, long shifts (10+ hours), and/or travel as needed is required for productions. Work location may vary due to Covid protocols and safety. Mighty Media’s workplace policies are subject to change at any time based on business necessity and manager discretion.

o This role routinely requires the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and printers;

o This position routinely requires one to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl or run and to do so outside, occasionally in inclement weather;

o Must be able to operate various electronic devices including recording, video and photography equipment; and

o Must be able to work at a computer or audio equipment for long periods of time.

o Position Type/Expected Hours of Work (HYBRID): This is a full-time Hybrid role which is defined as a combination of remote and in Office / On-site work within the Greater Seattle Area (King, Pierce, and Snohomish Counties). You are expected to work in the office or in person as directed by your manager. When there is no onsite work, this role will be expected to work from a remote location.
