Summary:
The IT Business Analyst is responsible for designing digital manufacturing and warehousing applications that are a key to the success of the NGDV Business. This individual is the functional process subject matter expert of designing innovative technology systems that meet the objectives of the business. This position communicates status, risk and risk mitigation plans and acts as a liaison between key business members and technical team members. The role ensures that there is adequate information to build new systems effectively and create functional designs. The role is also responsible for capturing requirements to ensure production applications are meeting the expectations of the business.

  • Lead BA at the Spartanburg facility
  • Plan, design, and document ERP and other business applications
  • Partner with the business to identify requirements
  • Lead large cross-functional projects and solution design within various functional areas utilizing broader knowledge of the business to track and manage business requirements.
  • Support the deployment of devices, computers, printers, and instruments
  • Collaborate with internal/external personnel in the design of database schemas integrating with other systems
  • Develop functional specifications, test cases, and design documentation
  • Support the development of controls standards for enterprise
  • Develop and maintain systems documentation
  • Works with ticket system on break/fix incidents
  • Collaborate and support best practices working with the corporate enterprise architecture
  • Attention to detail, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Advanced Customer Service skills.
Your Experience and Expertise:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent.
  • Previous experience preferred in Business Analysis, Information Technology, or in a related area. Willing to train the right candidate.
  • Preferred knowledge in ERP (JD Edwards), advanced warehousing, warranty, MES/SCADA. Willing to train the right candidate.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%.
Standout Qualifications:
  • Relevant industry recognized certifications (IIBA, ITIL, CBAP, CCAB)
  • Knowledge of ITIL IT Service management and experience defining, deploying and managing ITSM Processes.
  • Analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in business analytics and system design analysis.
  • Experience working independently and taking initiative.
  • Experience and proficiency with various web-based software applications including Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.
