The Cadillac Wexford Public Library is looking for a friendly and energetic I.T. specialist to maintain and improve our current computer system.

Position: I.T. Manager

Work Schedule: 20-25 hours/week, flexible scheduling

Wage Range: $ 20-$ 22/hour

Duties:

Maintenance of Microsoft Windows based computer systems: both hardware and software

Tracking software renewals and expiration

Managing hardware: update, schedule, and budget

Contact person for internet provider, technical support, circulation system, security system, and USF

Circulation system updates and troubleshooting

Strong troubleshooting skills to resolve issues that arise

Practice and understand common IT security measures

Requirements: At least an associate degree in related field and/or CompTIA A+ certification. At least six months experience in working with I.T. systems in a professional, volunteer, or internship capacity. Job will require visits at multiple locations, so reliable transportation is necessary. (Mileage paid at current state of Michigan rate)

Essential Functions: Ability to sit, walk, or stand for long periods of time; ability to lift or carry moderately heavy objects

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
