Position Title: IT Project Manager

Position Summary:

We are actively seeking an experienced application technology project manager for a contract to hire role. The Technology Project Manager defines, leads, and manages the timely completion of IT application projects of high complexity and moderate risk under limited supervision. This role exercises judgment within defined strategy, practices, and procedures, to accomplish high difficulty projects in an agile environment. The Senior Technology Project Manager communicates effectively and manages by flexing their style to work with all levels within the organization, from individual contributors to senior executives.

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver application technology vision using top down oversight from inception to completion.
• Responsible for all aspects of the managing the project: project goals, scope, resource mix, budget, execution workflow, dependencies, communication plans, change management plans, risk mitigation and governance.
• Follow effective processes to optimize delivery within an agile environment.
• Develop comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals and coordinate various managers and technical personnel during all project phases, from initial development through implementation.
• Monitor project progress continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables.
• Anticipate details of future projects by communicating directly with customers and staying informed of relevant trends and industry news.

100% remote but the person may be asked to come to Hoffman time to time.

• Communications - Communicate proactively with all involved personnel to provide encouragement, identify problems, create solutions, and implement efficiency improvements.
• Leadership - Lead groups of technology professionals to complete projects effectively. Strong leadership skills are required to motivate and inspire their team members.
• Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, O365, SharePoint)
• Atlassian (JIRA, Confluence)
• Deep understanding of technology development processes and concepts
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or Engineering
• 6-10 years of experience in handling application technology projects
• Relevant Project Management and Agile Certification (PMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe, CSP).

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $45.00 - $65.00 per hour
