As an IT Support Engineer, you will help establish standards, develop workflow processes, and ensure that all Carbon Health internal customers are supported by an exceptional team that can solve all their IT requirements. You take pride in delivering a positive experience in the work you do.

*Please note that travel and intermittent weekend support are required for this role*

What You'll Do:

    • Provide educational, empathetic, and impactful tier 1 and tier 2 support solutions for a diverse range of internal employees remotely.
    • Be a subject matter expert on a wide range of SaaS services and keep our knowledge base up to date with documentation.
    • Actively seek ways to improve our relationships and processes internally with our employees and externally with our IT vendors while enforcing security and compliance standards.
    • Work alongside our IT Purchasing team to manage a growing asset management system and endpoint solutions for a nationwide network of hardware.
    • Occasionally travel up to 25% of your time to our clinics across the US to survey infrastructure security, compliance, and receive clinic feedback.

About You

    • Bachelor’s degree or relevant technical experience
    • 2-5 years of relevant experience in an IT support position
    • You have excellent written/oral communication and customer service skills.
    • You have experience deploying and managing systems such as GSuite, Jamf, Meraki, Okta, and other SaaS applications.
    • Fundamental understanding of and hands-on experience with network technologies.
    • You work well independently but are an amazing team player/contributor. You have the ability to learn quickly while multitasking across a wide range of systems, and you are comfortable adapting to the needs of a rapidly growing environment.
    • You are experienced with troubleshooting complex problems while assisting remote teams of internal partners and vendors.
    • You have exceptional attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and good documentation habits.

    • Nice to Have:
    • Experience with the US healthcare industry.
    • Compliance experience: SOC2, HITRUST, HIPAA.
    • Field relevant certifications
