• Provide client VDI deployment and VDI issue resolution
• Conduct troubleshooting and repairs over the phone, remotely utilizing Dameware, and desk-side
• Deliver quality timely customer service while also meeting contract threshold metrics for phone and ticket resolutions
• Review tickets assigned daily and keep customers up to date on any and all changes
• Support classified thin/zero-clients hardware, firmware, and software, including VMware, ProfileUnity, Teradici PCoIP, HP Thin Client
• Ensure thin/zero client devices, operating systems, and application software are properly configured for network operation, are on-line, and are available to users
• Periodically review processes, procedures, and client configurations for completeness, effectiveness and compliance with information assurance polices and DISA STIGs
• Implement software patches and security fixes for VDI master images and pools when it cannot be done using enterprise MECM
• Configure and troubleshoot the integration of multi-function devices, printers, and peripherals into the VDI images
• Support both Standard and Virtual desktops

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent plus 6 years of experience relevant to the above skills. An additional 4 years of experience may substitute the degree.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Desktop Operating Systems (Windows 10)
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (O365/2016) Teams, Outlook
• Ability to resolve issues quickly and efficiently to comply with metric requirements
• Proficient with computer, network and server hardware
• Proficient with VMware Horizon View, the creation and deployment of master images and pools
• Working knowledge of ProfileUnity and the management of roaming profiles
• Working knowledge of Teradici software and management of thin/zero client hardware
• Good understanding of Liquidware Stratusphere analysis tool
• Good understanding of linked and instant clones
• Demonstrated experience configuring and deploying thin/zero client hardware
• Secret level DoD security clearance - required (ability to get clearance with waiver possible if background check shows potential)
• CompTIA Security + certification - required (valid certification on day one of employment)
