Job Summary:

American Leak Detection Inc. is looking for an IT Assistant to join our IT Department. We support 25 Corporate Locations and Aid 84 Franchise locations with various IT supports. It is a high-paced position that requires the ability to address a wide variety of problems and projects, often many simultaneously. This position has the flexibility of being part -time or full-time with the right candidate.

Pay Range:

Starting at $18-$20 (equivalent to $37k - $41k annually) DOE

Duties:

• Create users and help maintain the Salesforce environment.
• Create user emails and configurations.
• Create word, excel, power points.
• Manage assets.
• Assist in development of an inventory of all monitors, keyboards, hard drives, modems, printers, scanners, and other peripheral equipment.
• Assist in preparing, maintaining, and upholding procedures for logging, reporting, and statistically monitoring PC performance.
• Maintain up-to-date hardware and equipment contracts and supervise contract-based installations.
• Conduct research on computer products in support of PC procurement and development efforts. Evaluate and recommend hardware products for purchase.
• Work with end users to identify and deliver required PC service levels.
• Liaise with, and provide training and support to, end users and staff on computer operation and other issues.
• Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end user workstation hardware, networked peripheral devices, and networking hardware products, including all on-site printers.
• Where required, install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot associated end user workstation software and networking software products.

Education & Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 2-3 years’ experience desired
• Hands-on experience installing IT hardware and software
• Reynolds & Reynolds experience a plus, but not required
• Good knowledge of operating systems, especially Windows
• Salesforce experience is preferred
• Experience in Networking (DNS, routers, SEC plus, etc)
• Experience with SOC audit procedures are a plus
• Video editing experience is a plus
• Veterans from all branches are highly desired & encouraged to apply
