Position Summary

Nusano has an exciting opportunity for an IT Technician who will report directly to the IT Manager. The IT Technician will be responsible for providing a wide range of IT support to the team including the installation, commissioning, administration, and maintenance of networking and CPU/GPU computing systems, and collaboration with a managed service provider to resolve day-to-day issues. The ideal candidate has 1 or 2 years of professional hands-on experience and interest in joining a company that will provide opportunity for development and growth. Must reside within 30 miles from Santa Clarita, CA

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with IT Manager and managed service providers (MSP) to respond to issues and implement solutions for all employees at Nusano
• Asset tracking of computing and networking resources within Nusano
• Management of Nusano’s WAN across multiple locations
• Support with procurement and provisioning of new hardware and user accounts for new hires
• Develop and maintain cloud and on-premise data storage repositories that satisfy regulatory compliance requirements in regard to access, retention, and backup
• Maintain and provide support for existing corporate and production networks
• Administer remote access technologies (VPN) for users
• Administer subscription-based software packages (e.g. Office 365)
• Administer PBX system with HR support
• Maintain hardware for video conferencing and AV equipment onsite
• Assist with troubleshooting reports as part of a continuing improvement process to enhance system reliability
• Coordinate with IT manager to schedule maintenance and upgrade activities
• Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

• Enthusiasm and understanding of technology
• Excellent customer service and willingness to help others
• 1 to 2 Years of relevant IT experience
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science or MIS-related field
• Courteous, trustworthy, and excellent communication skills
• Familiarity with Microsoft enterprise administration
• Ability to learn quickly

Preferred

• Experience in a GMP regulated environment
• Experience in a startup or rapidly changing environment
• Experience working with a quality program and quality standards
• Familiarity with Fortigate firewalls or similar
• Familiarity with Ubiquity Access Points or similar
• Hands-on experience building computers, terminating cables, installation into cable trays
• Demonstrated analytical thinking skills

Physical Requirements

• Must be comfortable working in a facility that produces radiation (fully monitored).
• Work to be conducted in both an office environment and the production facility.
• Must be able to sit for long periods of time. Frequent use of computer with repetitive use of keyboard, mouse and manual dexterity.

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
