Job description
You will be in frequent contact with perspective and existing customers and sales representatives. The Aircraft Maintenance Coordinator takes ownership of the quote-to-contract process while providing exceptional customer service. This position could be located in Dallas, TX . This position is primarily responsible for putting together pricing for business aviation customers and setting pricing structure while working independently and producing contracts in a timely and efficient manner.
PRIMARY ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Generating verbiage and dollar amounts for sales quotes.
- Develop and maintain necessary databases.
- Coordinate with team members to generate multi-department contracts.
- Work directly with customers and vendors for information to develop pricing for quotes.
- Strong organizational skills and a strong understanding of the business / customer needs.
- Ability to make sound judgment based on the situation and the long-term goals of the program.
- Responsible for opening and finalizing quotes.
- Take a role in developing new ideas and procedures that will give the company the information necessary for success.
- Any other job-related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Job Specifications
Education
- College degree or A&P license preferred.
- Working knowledge of Corridor and Microsoft Office Suite a plus.
- Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Experience
- Previous experience in aviation contracts / quoting or equivalent working experience in Interiors or aircraft maintenance required.
Initiative
- Self-motivated, detail oriented and able to maintain a rapid pace.
- Must have excellent organizational skills.
- Develop and maintain working relationships with Sales and Program Managers.
- Perform job with minimal supervision.
Responsibility
- Attend work every day as scheduled to include overtime and weekend assignments.
- Notify supervisor in advance of shift starting if unable to work.
- Must have reliable transportation to get to work each and every day.
- Follow all company and safety rules during performance of duties.
Contacts
- Contracts team, internal and external customers as well as executive level personnel.
Physical Requirements
- Lift at least 10 lbs.
- Bend, reach and stoop.
- Sit at desk and / or computer for extended intervals. Walking of short distances routinely.
Mental Requirements
- Prioritize workload and work under pressure.
- Develop and understand processes and procedures.

- Work with minimal supervision

- Work will be accomplished in an office environment.

- 10 key calculator, FAX machine, telephone, mobile phone and photocopier.
- Computer operating with Windows, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Sales Force, Corridor and various other programs.
