JOB SUMMARY:

The Job Developer coaches individuals with disabilities for employment readiness through job shadows, internship placements, soft skills training, task analysis and systematic instruction, job preparation, job development and job retention services.

SALARY: $17.00 per hour

OFFICE LOCATION/HOURS: Office is based in Kenosha, WI with flexibility to work remote. Position works a hybrid model of time spend at the office/remote and out in the community. Must be able to meet in-person with clients in Kenosha, Racine, Walworth, and occasionally Milwaukee counties. Hours may vary but are typically Monday-Friday with flexible hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess employment readiness of individuals, determine barriers and needs for accommodations.
  • Meet with consumers in PSG offices, libraries, job centers, community buildings, or via internet or telephone
  • Reach out to employers to present the DVR Programs and consumers available for employment.
Requirements:
  • Must possess a valid Driver's License, personal automobile insurance, and reliable transportation on a daily basis.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Resources, Business, or other related is preferred.
  • Work experience in job development or job center services is preferred.
  • Experience working and communicating with diverse populations and people with disabilities is preferred.
