Responsibilities:
Peraton is seeking an experienced Information Operations (IO) Planner and/or a Psychological Operations (PSYOP) / Military Information Support Operations (MISO) planner to perform duties in the CCMD Joint Operations Center (JOC) for integration and synchronization with Combatant Command (CCMD) staff, subordinate units, and associated joint, interagency, intergovernmental and multi-national (JIIM) partners. This position is located in Tampa, FL – MacDill AFB.
The JOC IO/MISO planner is expected to be a conduit for Information for the CCMD, ensuring all information is submitted across the Information Related Capabilities (IRCs) to be able to integrate within all plans of operations for mission analysis, analytic problem solving, and assessment of Information Operations.

Peraton is seeking an experienced Information Operations (IO) Planner and/or a Psychological Operations (PSYOP) / Military Information Support Operations (MISO) planner to perform duties in the CCMD Joint Operations Center (JOC) for integration and synchronization with Combatant Command (CCMD) staff, subordinate units, and associated joint, interagency, intergovernmental and multi-national (JIIM) partners. This position is located in Tampa, FL – MacDill AFB.
The JOC IO/MISO planner is expected to be a conduit for Information for the CCMD, ensuring all information is submitted across the Information Related Capabilities (IRCs) to be able to integrate within all plans of operations for mission analysis, analytic problem solving, and assessment of Information Operations.
- The candidate should demonstrate the ability to review, analyze, and operationalize operational-level IO-related directives in support of CCMD mission objectives.
- Must have a strong understanding of the CCMD AOR, working as a member of Current Operations (CUOPS) team on the JOC floor to coordinate, integrate and optimize IRCs capabilities in support of Current Operations.
- This position is for an IO subject matter expert (SME) that must be able to work independently by providing a timely flow of relevant information by providing daily reports, collecting, sharing, disseminating and completing tasks assigned.
- Should be familiar with the Overseas Global Force Management (GMF) and processes while utilizing information system platforms Command and Control Information Environment (C2IE) and Rocket Chat rooms, providing senior leaders a comprehensive knowledge of current events with information inputs for key task, high impact assignments to provide information in support for Commander’s Critical Information Requirements (CCIR’s) for Commanders to make sound timely decisions.

Basic Qualifications:
Must possess a Bachelor’s degree and (7-10) years of planning experience or a combined total of a minimum of 12-15 years between education and relevant service. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of education requirements:
- Functional Area (FA30) career field and/or PSYOP (37A/37F) career is required.
- Army/Joint Targeting, IPB, and COG analysis process as well as a general understanding of Army Training doctrine and procedures.
- Knowledge in JOPP, MDMP, and MCPP planning and targeting processes and expertise in developing and accessing tactical and operational level IO plans and orders.
- Knowledge of service departments (Army, Navy, Marine Corps, and Air Force) functions and their relationships to CCMDs to coordinate PSYOP/MISO actions in appropriate channels, e.g., Army, Navy, Air Force, or Joint.
- Have a minimum of 4-5 years of experience with IO/MISO planning at the service or joint level, working that support operations with Combatant Commands or Joint Task Forces.
- Experience with integrating, coordinating, and synchronizing adjacent and supporting operations, as well as developing support for related capabilities and their activities. Be familiar with, certified in, or have applicable operational/field time experience in:
- Military Information Support Operations (MISO) / (formerly Psychological Operations (PSYOP)
- Military Deception (MILDEC)
- Operations Security (OPSEC)
- Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO)
- Cyberspace Operations
- SIGINT related activities
- Ability to engage senior JIIM leaders and staff, and conduct operational and informational briefings to a large audience.
- Ability to work effectively within a task organized working group and expertise with planning, integrating, and coordinating with inter-agency and intelligence community entities. - Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must possess or be able to obtain a US Passport.
- Clearance: This position requires an Active DOD Top Secret/SCI security clearance, based on current background investigation (SBI).

- Bachelor’s degree, Strategic Communications, International Studies/Affairs, or similar fields.
- Recent joint or service level PSYOP/MISO/IO planning experience in CCMD AOR

Range for Posting: Salary Minimum: $57,500 Salary Mid: $115,000 Salary Maximum: $143,800 The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position, and is just one component of Peraton's total compensation package for employees.
