Journeyman Electrician
Job description
A Journeyman Electrician will be able to perform the following essential duties and responsibilities:
- Must be able to wire all phases of motors, controls and other equipment.
- Should have strong knowledge in electrical and mechanical systems.
- Installation, repair and troubleshooting boiler systems.
- Critical thinking and problem solving.
The qualifications to perform this job successfully include:
- Conduit bending, controls wiring, low voltage, line voltage, motors, VFD’s.
- Must be able to read plans, blueprints and schematics.
- Must be able to work independently.
Additional qualifications to perform this job successfully include:
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Must be able to pass a DOT physical.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be able to follow all safety rules and wear all required safety equipment.
- Looking for a self-starter, who can work independently.
- Candidate must also possess excellent communication.
- Computer literate in MS Office - Word, Excel and Outlook.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40.00 - $60.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
