Job description
Journeyman Logistics Analyst
Supports USAF aircraft Engineering Requirements Review Process (ERRP) package development by conducting logistics analysis of supply data, supportability, and logistics posturing of ERR Bill of Materials or List of Materials. Conducts parts and materiel research related to Programmed Depot Maintenance (PDM) Operations using Government supply, inventory, and engineering support systems. Interfaces with ERR Team, Supply, DLA, and Government personnel to evaluate and mitigate supply/supportability issues.
Duties:
- Performs research and analysis for optimizing system and component supply chain management support
- Performs deliberate time-phased planning for placing kitted materials and necessary supplies at proper locations on schedule for supporting project activities
- Constructs and presents supply data and information analysis briefings to Team and Government personnel
- Advises program managers, engineers, research analysts, buying activities, contracting, finance, maintenance, and other disciplines of supply chain management planning and improvement activities, issues, and status
Required Skills
- Education, training, experience, and ability to manipulate and extract relevant logistics, maintenance data, and information from standard and tailored systems.
- Proficiency in the use of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint and etc.), database, information, and computing systems
- Familiarity with the following data systems:
- Federal Logistics Data (FED LOG)
- DOD FEDMALL (Department of Defense – Electronics Mall)
- Web Federal Logistics Information System (WebFLIS)
- Stock Control System (DO35)
- Depot Maintenance Material Support System (G005M)
- D043 (Air Force Master Item Identification Data Base)
