Jr. Java Developer (Back-end)

As the Back-end Developer, you will be responsible for developing software solutions for an enterprise team at a Telecommunications team. You will work to produce scalable, reusable, and reliable code in an Agile environment. You will join a team of passionate developers to explore cutting-edge technologies and push automation initiatives. The team utilizes a range of technologies including Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, MongoDB and Jenkins. In addition, they are currently undergoing a cloud migration so this would allow you to be trained and learn new technologies surrounding Azure and AWS!
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or relevant field
- 2+ Years Experience with Java
- Strong understanding of Spring Boot
- Strong understanding of Kafka
- Understanding of MongoDB
- Understanding of Agile methodologies
Responsibilities:
- Develop software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes, investigating problem areas; following an agile software development lifecycle process.
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable applications.
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
- Research new technologies and maintain active knowledge of current industry application development trends, with a view to how these can be utilized in the environment
- Document technical solutions and designs at level of detail suitable for enterprise architectural review, user training, and ongoing system maintenance.
