Job description
Patriot Group International, Inc. has full-time, non-exempt employee openings for Junior Recruiters. These positions will be located in our Herndon Operations office in Herndon, VA and Columbia, MD. These positions will report to the Vice President of Operations.
Responsibilities:
- Works with the Human Resources Department on creating comprehensive job descriptions based on directives from PGI Hiring Managers.
- Posts open positions to PGI website and social media pages.
- Screens candidates and contacts qualified applicants via phone and email.
- Conducts phone screening and interviews.
- Coordinate interviews with qualified applicants.
- Sends candidates paperwork to complete throughout hiring process.
- Works in conjunction with Human Resources (HR) and Operations teams to assess hiring needs and manage project staffing pipelines.
- Adhere to PGI ISO: 9001 requirements for recruitment and hiring procedures.
- Attends career fairs and hiring events within United States, as necessary.
- Other duties, as assigned by the Vice President of Operations and Chief Operating Officer (COO).
Qualifications:
- Experience using social media tools for candidate sourcing and branding efforts.
- Experience meeting time to fill, quantity, quality, diversity, veteran and internal hiring.
- Ability to review a high number of applicants.
- Ability to prepare detailed reports electronically using Microsoft Office 365 applications or other similar database applications.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Minimum of 21 years of age.
- Able to read, speak and understand English fluently.
- Successfully pass required pre-employment screening to include drug testing, and criminal background screening.
Physical Requirements:
- Able to lift up to 20 pounds.
- Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time sitting at a desk and working at a computer.
- Must be able to use standard office equipment to include a telephone, keyboard, computer, and copier/fax.
