Responsibilities:

** Serve as a learning specialist to a diverse group of learners who benefit from additional academic support due to learning differences, health concerns, or diagnosed needs

** Write and maintain student documentation files and up to date roster of students with accommodations plans

** Collaborate with faculty to implement any instructional plans that works for each student’s needs, i.e. extended time, testing environment, assignment accommodations, etc

** Support students by providing intervention and remediation

** Work with families on learning support and accommodations

** Meet regularly with the Student Support Team to report on student progress and create action plans for students

** Support teaching staff by offering resources, assistance, advice, and training to enable faculty to better meet the needs of all learners

** Act as a liaison with local school district

** Organize and oversee testing accommodations for students with a learning plan

** Perform other duties as assigned
