• Implements, monitors and provides technical support of customer laboratory environments, typically integrated with instrumentation
• Implements customer specified benchtop computing design and processes
• Ensures adherence to client’s corporate policies through periodic reporting and compliance programs
• Acts as the technical support contact for validation/compliance analysts related to information technology
• SME for draft validation and compliance documents supporting GxP computerized systems, and relevant infrastructure, including those related to compliance evaluation, and validation. Examples include, qualification protocols, risk assessment, Impact Assessment, System and design/configuration specifications, Lab Admin SOPs, Knowledge Check Management, Lab Admin Audit Trail SOP and change controls.
• Execution of Peer reviews of Client related checklists for validation compliance and lab administration tasks
• Acts as Liaison for software/hardware related inquiries
• Participates in client team and PE meetings
• Work and improve existing standing operating procedures/working instructions
• Support tasks related to change controls, deviation, investigations
• Effectively allocates own time to complete work; coordinates own and others’ schedules to avoid conflicts.

Required Critical Skills:

• Excellent customer service skills complimented by an ability to listen to and interpret client requests.
• Knowledge of the complex instrument and technology environments.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to identify, track and complete tasks for multiple projects under prescribed timeframes.
• Knowledge of laboratory safety practices as defined by the Company and/or customer’s site safety code.

Required Skills:

• Working in a lab environment a plus.
• Great team player.
• Lab IT knowledge to support existing team as needed:

o Win 7 – Win 10 Operating systems platform – Troubleshooting
o Microsoft Office 2013 and O365, Skype for business
o Crowdstrike antivirus
o SCCM software deployment & management tool
o Remote Desktop / SCCM remote/ Bomgar remote
o VPN connectivity
o Call recording, Ticketing system such as ServiceNow or Remedy Force
o Validated documentation systems: HPALM / KNEAT
o General knowledge of Active Directory functions
o Basic Network printers / copiers troubleshooting
o Basic Networking troubleshooting / firewall knowledge a must

Required Experience:

• Bachelors of Science in Computer Science, Life Science or equivalent industry experience
• 3+ years of relevant technical experience including (but not limited to) in Lab IT GxP environment
• Experience in SOP creations and change control management
• Experience with scientific instrumentation

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with scientific instrumentation
• Experience in Life Science environment

Physical Demands:

• The employee will regularly require walking, standing, sitting and use of motor skills. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

• Use of personal protective equipment in laboratory.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $17.00 - $27.00 per hour

• 8 hour shift
