Position Summary

Responsible for the performance of primarily office activities in support of landscape architecture and engineering plans, reports, and permitting. Developing to proficient AutoCad drafting skills and emerging skills in technical writing and regulatory compliance. Entry level position with no prior years of experience required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Consistency in drafting and design skills
• Attention to detail, correct line types and layer management for PM review.
• Redlines own drawings before presenting to PM for review.
• Time efficient, aware of hour allocation per task.
• Communicative with Project Supervisors and Management
• Emerging skills in:
  • Topographic grading, fluent within 6 months and proficient within 1 year
  • Understanding of native plant selection for tree, shrub, and herbaceous layer.
  • Understanding of hardscape paving systems and site furnishing details.
  • Understanding of Autocad drafting, developing to full proficiency within 1 year of experience.
  • Understanding of Adobe Design Suite, developing to proficiency within 1 year of experience
  • Understanding of 3D modeling and Rhino, developing to fluency within 1 year of experience
  • Technical writing
  • Regulations

• Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from four-year College or University.
