Irrigation/ Landscape Foreman

Pay Rate: 19/hr

11 holidays, Insurance, and PTO!

Odessa, FL

Will be required to work onsite along highways and commercial streets

REQUIREMENTS: 1+ year of experience of commerical landscaping experience

Must be able to pass a Drug test and DMV check

START: Mid December!

Responsible for the repair of existing irrigation and installation of new irrigation systems, also performs a variety of maintenance and utility tasks. The work performed is representative of the standards and conditions specified in the contract and as directed by the supervisor.

Essential Functions

  • Leading a team of technicians
  • Flexibility and capacity to work under time pressure and constraints
  • Excellent oral and written communication and strong interpersonal skills; leadership skills
  • Ability to develop working relationships with colleagues, advisors, contractors, etc. across office locations and time zones
  • High ethics and moral character; sound judgement
  • Honest and transparent
  • Self-Starter; strong motivation and ability to take initiative
  • Operate irrigation field controllers, pipes, valves and sprinkler heads as related to the irrigation systems
  • Work with electrical wiring as related to the irrigation systems
  • Detects and makes necessary repairs to the irrigation system.
  • Accurately reads various gauges as related to the irrigation system

Qualifications:

HS Diploma or GED (Preferred)

Work Experience: 1+ year work experience in repair, maintenance or landscaping (outdoor work)

Preferred. Certifications and Licenses: - Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record (Required)
