Position Description
JOB TITLE: Landscaping/Maintenance
POSITION SUMMARY:
Under general supervision, maintains all convent & retreat center landscaping in an attractive and well groomed manner and performs tasks in the maintenance and cleanliness of all buildings and offices. All work to be performed according to safety requirements and guidelines.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Take care of complete landscaping and turf of all convent.
• Prune and trimming of trees when needed and mowing lawns
• Apply chemicals for weed and pest control.
• Clean all parking lots; leaf blowers, rakes etc.
• Assist in maintenance on various projects

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: * knowledge of plant cultivation, use of fertilizers and the use and maintenance of equipment for grounds maintenance such as lawn mowers, power edgers and other cutting and landscaping tools.

• Have knowledge of acceptable cleanliness
• Must be knowledgeable in safe work procedures and practices.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to lift 40+ lbs on a regular basis, standing, walking, climbing, crawling, sitting, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, hearing, seeing, reaching, repetitive forward bending, prolonged gripping of an item, repetitive hand/finger movements, sense of touch/feel.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
