LAUNDRY ASSISTANT

FULL TIME – 1st SHIFT

$250 SIGN-ON BONUS

The Lutheran Home at Hollidaysburg, a skilled nursing and independent living community, is actively seeking candidates for a Laundry Assistant. This is a non-supervisory position that performs laundry tasks in accordance with daily work assignments or as assigned to ensure the community is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner.

The Lutheran Home at Hollidaysburg is offering a $250 sign-on bonus to Laundry Assistants. Available positions may change throughout the course of the promotion. Occasional, or casual, positions do not qualify. Bonuses will be paid in increments over a specified period of time.

Duties include:

• Laundry services include but are not limited to: collect, sort, weigh, wash soiled laundry; dry, fold, press, iron, count stack, hang, and distribute clean laundry.
• This is a non-supervisory position that will report to the Environmental Services Manager.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of commercial laundry experience preferred.
• Ability to push, pull, lift or move a minimum of 50 lbs.
