Position: Laundry Attendant-Hampton Inn & Suites at Tin Lizzie Gaming Resort

Reports To: Executive Housekeeper

Pay: $16 an hour

The goal is to create a clean and orderly environment for our guests that will become a critical factor in maintaining and strengthening our reputation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Load and unload commercial style washers and dryers.
• Sort linens and personal garments as required.
• Fold towels, sheets, pillowcases and other facility linens as required.
• Keep folding room and laundry area in neat and clean condition.
• Operates as necessary, the washing machines, dryers and other laundry equipment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Cleans guest rooms in accordance with established company, brand or hotel standards to allow enough quantity of vacant and clean rooms.
• Responds to the needs of guests and coworkers in a friendly, positive manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards for the property.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be flexible (work weekends and holidays), and be a team player.
• Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
• Attention to detail and ability meet high standards of room cleanliness.
• Must be able to walk, climb stairs, stand, bend, crouch, kneel, reach overhead, twist, lift, push, pull and carry.
• Must be able to push and pull a fully loaded wheeled cart in excess of 100 lbs.
