Job description
Responsibilities include:
- providing sanitary conditions in the laundry at all times;
- cleaning machines, carts, floors, and counter;
- filling laundry products dispensers;
- using correct settings on washers and dryers;
- sorting and weighing personal laundry and linen;
- folding cleaned personal laundry and returning to SCC residents via carts;
- folding linens, counting and packing linen carts; and
- maintaining accurate records of daily laundry volume and counts.
Must have reading and writing skills and the ability to comprehend written and oral instructions in English. Must have the physical stamina to perform job functions and to work well with limited to no supervision. A pleasant personality and ability to deal with other people in a cooperative manner are important characteristics of this candidate. Must have good judgment with the ability to use reasoning skills.
Shift: 40 hours a week, rotating holidays
Hours: 8.5 hour shift; includes 1/2 hour lunch break
Monday - Friday 7:00am-3:30pm
