As a non-profit community hospital, Fitzgibbon Hospital is vital to the health and well-being of the communities it serves in the Marshall, MO and surrounding area. We are looking for a self-driven compassionate Laundry Technician to join our Environmental Services team. This position requires frequent standing, walking and lifting.
A Laundry Technician:
- Sorts, weighs, washes and dries linens, folding and placing in proper areas
- Hangs personals and distributes personal clothing to proper areas
- Stocks linen closets and carts, checks and restocks supplies and stamps new linens
- Cleans our dryers, wipes down all equipment, sweeps and mops floors
- Distributes linens to hospital departments
Shift:
- Full-Time
- 9:00am-5:30pm
- 80 hours every two weeks
- Rotating weekends

Physical requirements:
- Able to handle 75 pounds of wet/dry linens
- Walk, bend, and kneel frequently
- Fold linens eight (8) hours or more per shift
