Job description
Summary:
Responsible for operating washers and dryers. Must be able to use judgment on unusually soiled linens and know when to use additional suds or bleach. Must understand importance of aseptic technique, job and fire regulations.
Education:
Must be able to read, write, and do simple arithmetic. Needs mechanical aptitude and ability to follow oral and written instruction and work with limited supervision.
Experience:
Worker needs four weeks on the job training under direction of director to require skill and versatility to perform satisfactorily.
