Little Green Tree House, Chicago's first eco-friendly early childhood center, is seeking a vibrant and passionate Lead Toddler Teacher (15months - 24months). Job duties include, but are not limited to:

• Providing a warm and educational environment where toddlers needs are met and development is fostered.
• Creating and implementing developmentally appropriate lesson plans and maintaining child portfolios.
• Parent communication via face-to-face, daily records, phone calls, and emails.
• Keeping children safe and engaged in our indoor play spaces, rooftop playground, and on walks to the park.
• Maintaining a fun, safe and healthy environment.
• Meeting & following requirements of Licensing agencies.
• Professional interactions with children, parents and co-workers.

Job Requirements:

• Must have a completed Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field with at least 12 credits of early childhood coursework
• Previous experience working with toddlers required
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills

This is a full-time, Monday through Friday (7am-4pm) position with competitive compensation.
