Apply to join a dynamic real estate development team in downtown Baltimore with The Cordish Companies. We are seeking an experienced Legal Administrative Assistant to work with a group of both attorneys and non-attorneys alike. Candidates should be able to multi-task, to work in a fast-paced environment, to easily learn new technology, and to work well with colleagues. The LAA will have a wide variety of responsibilities supporting the team’s work (including drafting correspondence, formatting documents, entering documents and data in our document management system, organizing mail intake, and much more).

This is an ideal job for someone who enjoys working as an LAA on interesting real estate projects and has the following skills:

  • Excellent proofreading and attention to detail in writing; reliable in generating documents without basic spelling/typing errors
  • Excellent knowledge of Internet research, calendaring, word processing and Excel spreadsheets
  • Self-starter with efficient time-management and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and comfortably deal with often busy people
  • Legal Secretary certification or diploma (encouraged, not required)
  • Previous experience working in a law firm supporting real estate matters (encouraged, not required)

Salary: commensurate with experience with the potential for annual performance bonus

Work Schedule: Full-time in office; 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday with scheduled holidays off throughout the year
