Description: Level 2 IT Field Technician/Consultant

Typically works in the field doing IT related support and projects in support of our managed service plans. Reports out of our main office for additional assignments, helpdesk assistance, and projects.

Typical duties for this level include

  • Traveling to client sites in our service territory using company car
  • Service territory is generally Chester County, Wilmington and vicinity, and Philadelphia area
  • Provide Level I and Level II support for users, servers, firewalls, switches, and general IT infrastructure
  • Check local client network devices and keep equipment rooms organized
  • Check client Backup/Disaster Recovery system and identify issues
  • Interact with clients to ensure they are happy and getting good service
  • Install equipment devices such as PCs, servers, switches and firewalls

Preferred Requirements:

  • A general knowledge of computers and how networks work
  • A+ Certification (Not required)
  • Network+ Certification (Not required)
  • Windows Server administration
  • Active Directory experience (Preferred but not required)
  • Office 365 administration (Not required)
  • Familiarity with Azure (Not required)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
