Warde Campus in Windham, NH, a 39-bed Assisted Living community and a 32-bed skilled nursing facility offering short and long-term care in a warm, supportive atmosphere where residents are cared for according to their individual needs. We also have 21 brand new independent living apartments that provide an affordable living option to our community. We are excited for this newest addition of services which will enhance our campus and overall continuum of services. We are proud to be part of Catholic Charities New Hampshire.

We are looking for a Part-Time Life Enrichment Assistant to join our team. This position will work 24 hours/week including every other weekend, 3 evening shifts and must be able to work holidays. We'll pay you based on your experience and offer you a great work environment.

Job Responsibilities;

  • Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the Activity Programs of this facility under the supervision of the Director of Activities.
  • Oversee planned activities during the absence of the Director.
  • Assist in coordinating programs and activities with other departments, as necessary.
  • Assist in arranging transportation for field trips and to other facilities, when necessary.
  • Assist in scheduling various activities for residents.
  • Assist bed residents by visiting with them, writing letters, running errands, etc., as necessary.
  • Recommend to the director the equipment and supply needs of the department.
Requirements:


  • Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and/or have received first dose prior to starting
  • Must possess a high school diploma or its equivalent.
  • A Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) is strongly preferred.
  • Must have an aptitude for and some training in, the arts and crafts arena.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English in an understandable manner.
  • Must have understanding of the social, psychological and recreational needs of the elderly.
  • Must have patience, tact, and a cheerful disposition and be willing to work with residents based on their current level of maturity and functioning.
  • Must possess ability to work independently.
  • Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
