The South Shore YMCA is Now Hiring LIFEGUARDS for its Emilson Family YMCA located in Hanover, MA. Bring Your Passion To Our Mission!

The Y is the most accessible community resource to prevent drowning and encourage a lifelong enjoyment of swimming—teaching more than one million kids a year swimming and water safety skills.

Pool Hours:

• Monday - Friday: 5:00 am - 10:00 pm
• Saturday: 6:30 am - 8:30 pm
• Sunday: 7:00 am - 6:00 pm

Current Needs:

• Currently seeking applicants with morning and afternoon availability

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Must be age 16+.
• Experience as a certified lifeguard, youth sports instructor/coach, camp counselor and/or childcare provider preferred but not required.
• Applicants interested in a lifeguard but need certification or re-certification are still encouraged to apply
• Must be a strong swimmer
• CPR and First Aid Certification preferred but not required

• Hanover, MA 02339: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Lifeguard: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Lifeguard Certification (Preferred)
• CPR/First Aid Certification (Preferred)

Shift availability:

• Night Shift (Preferred)
• Day Shift (Preferred)
