Pay: $17.50 (+$2.00/hour shift premium between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. Additional pay opportunity with our Pay for Skills program.)
1st Shift: 6:00am – 4:30pm (Monday-Thursday)
Red River Commodities is seeking a Line Operator for our Wildlife Plant. Line operators will be responsible for setup, operation, monitoring and adjusting plant processing or packaging equipment for desired results.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepares machinery by loading correct bags for runs
- Operating machinery in a safe manner
- Maintains quality service by following corporate standards and use GMP, SQF and attends training as required
- Maintains a clean and safe work environment, keeping shelving and work area clean
- Contributes to team effort and aids in accomplishing company or department goals
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating and maintain production & packaging machines, preferred
- Able to learn or understand when to adjust packaging & production equipment to meet quality standards
- Able to safely operate and maintain equipment with a high degree of precision and control per processing standards
- Applicants must be able to work in a dusty environment, stand for long periods of time and keep pace
- Be able to lift to 50 lbs. as needed
- The successful candidate will be self-motivated, have good decision-making skills and willing to take directions
