Live Events Video Technician (V2)
Job description
INSPIRE, is seeking a motivated, professional person to join our staff as a Video Technician (V2) working at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, CO.
This role will be responsible for setting up video equipment for corporate events/conferences. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of live video and video switchers as well as video routing and streaming.
We will consider applicants who have demonstrated an interest in the Event Technology field, and wish to pursue a career in video engineering in a live events environment, working with large venue HD projection, LED walls, HD camera rigs, and video switching.

The compensation for this position is between $19.00- $25.00 per hour.
- Video Switching (Datavideo, FOR.A, Panasonic, Barco, Analog Way etc) GFX Operator, Rec/Playback Operator, Camera Operator, Live Streaming
- Projectionist, Monitors/Consumer Displays, LED Video walls, Videographer,
- Strong computer skills - proficient with Keynote/PowerPoint, Playback Pro and other related presentation software
- General Audio, Lighting, Rigging, Décor, Staging abilities & knowledge
- Pull Equipment, Load In, Set up, Operate, Take Down, Load Out & Shop duties
- Warehouse & Equipment Responsibilities
- Other duties as assigned
Other Qualifications:
- 1 year Video Switching experience
- 3 years of Live Event and Production experience
- Must have a minimum of High School Diploma or GED, some college preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills proven through demonstrated ability to interact well with clients both internal and external.
- Maintain a professional image in compliance with company appearance/dress code.
- Must have a clean driving record.
- Must be able to accommodate a flexible and short notice work schedule to include nights, weekends, holidays.
- Must be able to lift 75lbs.
The ideal candidate:
- Will have demonstrated an interest in pursuing a career in live events, through relevant work or volunteer experience, or education in an Event Technology field.
- Must have intermediate knowledge of live event video and video production, and the ability to learn and master video equipment utilized for video imaging, processing, switching, and projection, including projector blending.
- Must possess excellent customer service skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills, be well organized, have a professional demeanor and be efficient in the use of time management.
