Your Opportunity: Taylor Warehouse & Distribution is adding a Logistics Analyst to the team. This person will be responsible for developing client solutions, building pricing, inbound and outbound shipping support for both domestic and international, providing system support, completing analysis and working cross-functionally with Customer Service, Sales, Customers and Suppliers.
Your Responsibilities:
  • Develop distribution and logistics solutions and pricing for clients by understanding the Taylor service offering.
  • Regularly evaluate existing client pricing, and model against actual cost for changes.
  • Manage kitting pricing and build processes.
  • Provide monthly distribution and logistics billing for select clients.
  • Provide freight quotes to internal customers
  • Create miscellaneous reports and analysis of ad hoc needs.
  • Update and maintain system data across multiple Taylor platforms.
  • Problem solve as a contributor on future ERP/WMS/OTM platform.
  • Arrange or coordinate scheduling of shipments with freight forwarders or carriers, including verification and/or making Delivery Appointments
  • Act as the liaison between freight forwarders or carriers, customers, Customer Service, and/or Suppliers with establishing deadlines or options for shipping, special needs such as fulfillment, drop shipping, etc.
  • Manage shipment exceptions and work to resolve delivery issues and/or rating errors.
  • Track and fix shipping issues
You Must Have:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of directly related experience with high volume shipping
  • Extensive knowledge of UPS and FedEx parcel package shipping
  • Understands ERP concepts and integration with respect to supply/demand functions
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail, process oriented and organized
  • Interact constructively and effectively with all plant and warehouse employees and CSR teams
  • Ability to work in a team environment toward a common goal
  • Reacts to change productively and is able to handle other tasks as assigned
  • Maintains a pattern of regular and predictable attendance and is a self-starter capable of productive remote work environment.
  • A service-oriented individual with a high energy, positive and friendly demeanor
  • Ability to respond to continually changing priorities and coordinate multiple projects
  • Strong computer skills (Excel, Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Strong customer service, interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills
  • Ability to read, write, speak and comprehend English
We Would Also Prefer:
  • Ability to travel 2-10 times per year.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Cloud, WMS and/or OTM.
  • Management of 3rd party logistics providers
