POSITION OVERVIEW
The primary objective of this position is to monitor the day to day operations for all export orders. This position will work closley with Freight Forwarder and steam ship lines to ensure proper and timely bookings are being made for export. This position will also be responsible for shipment track and trace efforts during sail and communication to regions.
TARGETED OUTCOMES
- Provide updates to regions on status of export orders
- Point of contact for freight forwarder on export information
- Ensure booking process stays within established KPI
- Develop a working knowledge of Celonis, with a functional understanding to drive informed decisions
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Check status of bookings and notify responsible parties of any blocks
- Monitor booking turn time and work with freight forwarder to improve
- Send SAP documents to freight forwarder when needed
- Interface with steamship lines, equipment owners, freight forwarders, and local ports
- Review reports and provide needed information for booking team
- Update vessel status when needed and provide up to date ETA's
- Timely updates provided to regional teams around ETA’s and changes
- Investigate issues and shortfalls with export shipment execution
- Analyze data to determine trends with exports to destinations
- Participate in meetings with freight forwarder
- Implement lean principles to streamline processes (A2E)

Export Coordinator, Order Fulfillment
TEAM
Work closely with Supply Chain, Traffic, QA, Procurement and Order Fulfillment as well as external carriers and vendors
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field
- 2 years experience in the ocean market
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Moderate computer skills including proficiency in microsoft office products
- Action-oriented with strong problem solving skills
- Proficient in MRP systems, SAP preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in both independent and team work environments
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while remaining organized, accurate and efficient
- Ability to perform in highly dynamic and fast paced work environments
