Logistics Supervisor Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Effectively schedule and monitor deliveries
- Ensure all orders are shipped to customer’s specifications in a timely manner
- Maintain the storage of product to achieve accurate physical inventories reflected in ERP system
- Maintain high customer service levels (On-Time Delivery)
- Supervise and prioritize warehouse personnel
- Generate Bills of Lading
- Verify all paperwork from the packer is together and completed
- Stay up to date with customer specific software
- Maintain proof of deliveries, tracking shipments and call for quotes
- Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures
- Responsible for overall inventory accuracy in the warehouse
- Assure results and productivity are maintained at or above company goals and standards
- Ensure compliance to all established ISO and quality documentation and process requirements
- Adhere to and provide a safe working environment for staff
- Responsible for employee attendance records and reconciliations
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and cleanliness in the warehouse
- Perform shipping functions as needed, including driving a forklift
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Associates Degree (Preferred)
Typical Schedule is Monday - Friday

- Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Excellent time management, follow up, communication and organizational skills
Required Experience
- 5-7 years' experience in transportation, logistics, warehousing or distribution
- Experience driving a forklift
