Logistics Support Coordinator
Award winning manufacturer is seeking a Logistics Support Specialist to join their Logistics and Transportation team. You will manage the relationship with transportation carriers in order to maintain world-class delivery service to our customers. Great benefits including Quarterly sales incentives, profit sharing, and 401K. Salary up to $50,000 DOE.
Responsibilities of the Logistics Support Coordinator:

• Contact the appropriate carriers including railcars, trucking companies
• Adjust customer orders when necessary
• Reroute shipments
• Processing returns in order to return products to appropriate location
• Track and update shipments in customers portal
• Communicating with external and internal customers regarding shipments
• Monitor and communicate with management inappropriate charges from carriers
• Communicate transportation cost with customers
• Maintain and create reports pertaining to transportation costs in Excel
• Process payments for carriers

• Manager and Process all freight claims

Requirements for the Logistics Support Coordinator

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
• Logistics or customer service experience preferred
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Microsoft Office Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent communication skills both written or verbal

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $50,000.00 per year
