LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse)

4-12 Weeks Contract in York Pa

Start Date: ASAP

All shifts available

Facility Type: LTC

8hrs / 5 days, 40 hours/week

12hrs / 3 days, 36 hour/week: 6P-6A

Pay rate:

$42/hour for W2

$50/hour for 1099

Requirements

• Must have an active PA LPN License
• Must have at least 1 year LPN experience in Long Term care
• Must pass a background check and drug test.
• 2step ppd or TB blood test or Chest xray
• Pre-Employment physical exam

Responsibilities

• Record a patient’s medical history accurately
• Take and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate etc.
• Observe patients under treatment to identify progress, side-effects of medications etc.
• Monitor patients’ condition including fluid intake and output and compose patient charts
• Assist ailing patients in daily necessary activities such as eating, bathing etc.
• Administer injections, prescribed medications, enemas etc., clean and dress wounds and assist with other basic medical care tasks
• Collect samples for lab testing as assigned
• Provide emotional and psychological support when needed
• Communicate with patients’ family or friends to provide advice, comfort and release instructions

Job Types: Full-time, PRN, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $1,680.00 - $2,000.00 per hour

• LPN in LTC: 1 year (Required)
